Reflections // Winter Days

“Attention is the beginning of devotion.” - Mary Oliver: Upstream

Sliding through these winter days, bundled in the warmth found in this season: candles lit in the evening, peppermint tea steaming hot by the tree, laughter that fills the room with a dulcet ring.

Days spent in the forest — trekking up snowy trails, followed by coffee in front of the fireplace in a quiet mountain town.

These are the days that set the heart aflame, these are the days to be alive.

And so we go: to the forest, to the coast — to look, to see, to listen.
